Every route person has a territory with a customer list and calls only on customers who want the service. The office staff purchase directly from the route person. A route person must own a reliable vehicle (vans are the best) and should display Nut Man Co. logos on the vehicle. A professional cart is available and highly recommended. The product is consigned to the route person where applicaple or purchased directly.
ROUTES CAN BE PURCHASED
Prices vary depending on the performance of the route. A quality route would show a record of proven sales overa period of time and a detailed list of customers.Route prices vary from a low of $1,000 to a high of over $40,000.
INDEPENDENT NON-OWNERSHIP ROUTES
In this scenario a lesser discount is given to the route person. However, he/she has the same access to the Nut Man Co. product as a person who owns their territory. Naturally the non-owner cannot sell his/her route and thus not gain from the good will they have created.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
The people who have been successful within the Nut Man Co. framework over the past 19 years have some key things in common. They love people, they love to be in control of their future, and they have a zest for living. Many people will say it is the relationship with their customers they like. Others say they like the variety of meeting new people and touching on many different types of businesses every day. Some feel it is a way of "making a difference" as they spread friendship everywhere they go. There are no boundaries to the market place. The "go-getter" finds no limitations. During a 1985 TV interview in Edmonton I was asked "What is the philosophy of the Nut Man Co.?" The answer: "You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to realize that the world and all the people in it are heading toward a brick wall at 100 miles an hour. There are stresses and strains in every facet of life. We hope that when the Nut Man comes into an office the staff will lighten up for a minute and during that lightened time maybe change some of their thoughts and stresses and not hit the brick wall. But if people insist on hitting the brick wall we hope they have a bag of nuts in each hand to cushion the blow."

A route person must own a reliable vehicle (vans are the best) and should display Nut Man Co. logos on the vehicle. A professional cart is available and highly recommended. The product is consigned to the route person where there are areas of Nut Man Co. warehouses such as Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. Other areas such as Lethbridge,Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Fort McMurray, Regina, Saskatoon,Victoria, and Okanagan B.C. purchase the product directly with a larger discount to compensate for increased risk and responsibility.

VANCOUVER - We have routes available right now and are looking for enthusiastic sales people who want to work in a great city.
VICTORIA - has more chocoholics than anywhere in Canada, they need a Nutman.
VANCOUVER ISLAND is looking for Nut People with the "Islander spirit" and the rest of the province is full of tourists and locals wanting to see something new.
ALBERTA - There are 22 existing routes in Alberta and there are usually one or two coming available from time to time.
SASKATCHEWAN - Saskatchewan (greatest football fans in the world) has a few opportunities.
MANAGEMENT
GENERAL MANAGERS AND SALES MANAGERS
Currently we have managers in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. We are looking to connect with managers who could work with us in new territories and projects. We are always looking for good people.
PART - TIME
PART-TIME SELLING OPPORTUNITIES
We have a constant need for reliable people to work with us during the peak times. This may be assisting in table sales, mall set ups, festivals, and in our stores. There is also room to create your own income. Some people work a cash and carry with us and sell at their parties or in remote places (we sold $3,000 in Cambridge Bay, Nunevut) or through Special sales within your company for fund raising.
EARN EXTRA MONEY AT CHRISTMAS
We need temporary workers to help make up our Christmas trays and tins in our Calgary Plant from september through December. Contact Allan at 287-1983 to put your name on our list.

PACKAGING, WAREHOUSE, OFFICE WORK - These folks carry the same spirit as the Nut Man (sales person) does. They work hard and they work together. We love our inside workers and we deliberately want to use labor versus machines whenever possible. We do have staff turnover and we do hire extra folks during festive seasons.
